Yesterday was Service Learning for 03/08!

Our SL Project was planned for this AMK Family organisation, and with family, obviously there were kids! Venue was at ECP, after Bedok Jetty. Took me so long to reach there, with the help of so many people. LOL. So the kids were really cute. I was doing imprinting with one of the kids, and he said very randomly: "I got a Ben-10 wallet". Thanks to BK, if not I will not be able to relate to this boy. HAHA! Played some games with them, and went on some "educational tour". Basically the day was fun because of these kids. It started raining quite heavily. Then came evening, and we packed up. Played some cards with classmates, walked at the beach...When we finally decided to leave the place, it started raining again! Walked in the rain for quite some distance with Esther and all until taxis came by. Esther, your singing is so HAHAHA. Went to tamp. mall, and HOME SWEET HOME.

I swear I'll make today a study-productive day. I WILL NOT SLEEP!

Today was an absolutely bad day. Will not dwell on it.

Had a very foul mood because my view don't go with my PW mates'. *Meiqi, I still didn't manage to talk over them. Let's just see if what I foresee would happen will happen.

Last weekend was totally exhausting. If I wasn't in the NFAC project team, I will never know that carrying out one is so so so taxing. Its just like another camp lah, lol. My post was changed quite a few times, and finally decided as AC TOC casualty. Yeah, I am always link to TOC somehow, since sec2 zone mock comp I still can rmb. Learned quite a few bit from other zones. But mind you, being a casualty, esp for TOC is ... The teams' sweat and saliva and wadsoever you can think of just kept dripping onto my face. Worse still, becos i'm too tall (or long if you call it) and so I covered the entire stretcher. Many teams used two-man method, and guess what. With every step they took, my head was being squashed with their butt.
*FYI, I got two new pimples now. I wonder why. LOL!

Luckily enough, I am not required to follow them back to NHQ (although supposedly yes) and so I can catch the results.

YES, our NA clinched the overall National FIRST RUNNER-UP position!
The news came pretty shocking to me, cause I was told that their cpr, hn and fa were not good. Was practically jumping on the spot that the OCTs around me were looking at me lol. Well done. Well done indeed. Nab, you didn't disappoint. :D But most imptly, as i've said, you all have win yourself.
Congrats to NH NC team too, and I guess they did train hard for it.

Bloated at the moment.

School is actually turning better, i'm starting to mix with classmates, and I must admit they are rather nice people. Maybe its becos I'm not willing to accept them last sem? And ofcourse, my class is an IDEAL class to study for Alevels when everyone is so pia, so smart.

Wanted to donate blood today, but well, its 'wanted'. It turned out that I'm not suitable becos I'm on medication :( Been thinking of donating since dunno when!

Helped out with NA for natcomp today after my rehearsal. Thankyou to the current batch of CL and SSGTs, especially nab and yq. They're so self-driven and I can rest my mind when they're around with the corps. Ofcourse not forgetting to wish the sec4s and 5s all the best for their prelims, and NA to get their goal on sunday.

Got back some papers today, and some were surprising! Hahah, I really have a feeling that i'll get 4 'S's or 'U's for the core subjects. Anw, chinese was slightly disappointing. Got a C without oral and LC. As for GP, it was an E. Then Econs was unexpected, cos I left the 15m essay 3/4 blank. But it turned out that I got a D! Hahah. Finally it was GEOG. My favourite subject, but its turning me crazy sometimes just by the amount of information I've to know and EVALUATE. Its always about assessing and evaluating with case studies lah. Econs is like that too, but at least there is sort of a structure to it. Back to the point, I got an EEEEEEEEEEEEE!! A freaking 9 out of 80 students in our cohort passed only! I passed! Hahah! At least the hardwork put in the week turned out to be helpful? Was quite stressed out prior to the papers...

Alright, I really hope that guitar sessions can stop clashing with stjohn's. :(

Oh before I end, forgot to mention that I went for AAR session on last Sat for CF project. We went to kbox before the session, and Yujia's incident was really so funny! Room 71, made us laughed so badly. Hahah! Anw, our project is over! Can't wait for NFAC, AGI, and POCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC! OTC turned out quite fun actually, and my perception of it changed alot. Well, I would cherish the last 2 course days!

ITS FRIDAY!
All papers were over, and its sort of a sure fail kind of thing. BUT! I'll buck up! Will work on tutorials, make notes (especially for the thick thick geog file). Had a day set aside for PW today, and, ...hai. I will be so glad when the whole thing is over in Nov.

Besides that, also took the chinese oral today! Only know the exact slot for me like YESTERDAY. It was fine, just like last year's Os, except that this time I didn't do as well as what I think. Went back to xmsjab again, and had the same great feeling again. Hope they enjoyed the recre. I wonder how often can I go back for end of this year already, but my heart will always be with them!

CFC outing tml, and its KBOX. HAVE TO PART WITH MY MONEY. :( Lol. Another PW mtg tml. :((

SCHOOL IS REOPENING!
Two words to sum it all: Dread it.
Life shall resume back to the excruciating cycle of work, PW, facing classmates, CCA, and the list can just go on...But this time round I'll hang on and try to finish all tutorials asap! Don't wish to rush like now for end of year promos. 2 more days of studying and another 3 days it will be over!

Back to finish another 3/4 of college life.

念书时候，总在不同阶段有过最要好地朋友。当时一切都是美好的一大班好朋友一起出去玩，共同庆祝生日，拍很多的大合照，唱很多流行歌曲。但生活永远在演变，感情总是在改变，所有的这些最好，都不会全部留下。照片渐渐不再翻，然后就变黄了。歌曲渐渐不再唱，然后就不流行了。生日渐渐不再有很多的朋友一起庆祝，然后就忘记了。玩乐渐渐不再觉得有趣，然后就找到新的休闲玩意儿了。

友谊永固的那种永远也非常幼稚。
通常那种在纪念册上写永远的友情都永远不到哪里去，没隔几年走在街上恐怕连对方都认不出。

不同阶段的一群死党，一个一个，渐渐远离，那么自然，那么不留痕迹，蓦然回首，才发现岁月的日记又留下了很多新的字句。

PW is really a pain in the ass.

There are really to many things too juggle with here and there! Damn it, at this stage my group's GPP is not even being approved yet.

JC really stretches me physically and mentally. There is no vibrancy in AJ, my classmates are smart like shit, and I can't help feeling lousy! Rahh, midyrs is round the corner after next week and I'm starting to hit the panic button.

I know I have not taken the wrong path.

Should be turning in now, but still have to wait for dinner before I can do so. Yep, I am back from officer course camp, and that marks the end of phase 2. Like I've said, I know I have not taken the wrong path. This camp allowed me to reflect more, to see things through different perspectives, to reaffirm why I have still chose to carry on serving the brigade. I am proud to say I am part of OTC 2008!

This is another regimental training camp, except that this time round I am the trainee again with other coursemates. Though programme planned were as simple, and as normal as like any other NCOC/sj training camps, I must say this is a different experience. Day 1 was taken by external vendor, there was triage. Day 2 was the hike followed by triage, route march as a course and finally the campfire finale put together by the committee and I. Final day was a different kind of morning PT, and another triage again. The route march and morning PT were especially challenging (I like these 2 program the most!), but we made it Hotel! We have won, and we have win ourselves too. (: Had a very enjoyable time with other course mates, division mates, zone mates and group mates.

Must really thank our campfire advisors for all the help. Thankyou Sir Qingjun, Mdm XuanTing too.

I AM BACK FROM CAMP!
Enjoyed the Cadet Drill Instructor course, and find it meaningful. Had a positive working experience with the rest of the trainers and had lots of good laugh too, credits to elyas especially hahah. Was posted to Bravo together with Sir WenBin and Peirong! It was really quite crazy when I first took a look at the program list with drills placed throughout the entire 3days, and it turned out to be challenging especially when their morale was low. Anyway, we held an impromtu fd comp on day2 (with fancydrill performance from trainers, which really reminded me of the tiring 3training days of inter-UG comp), with Bravo winning! Many of them took the effort to improve, and I guess it had do them good really. Had another impromtu POP before breaking camp. As for our corps, I was disappointed at times with them, especially so when they're the corps' leaders. Is this what we had taught them? Well, perhaps expectations were too high from me and each batch differ. Still, I see a handful really putting in the heart and soul to do it well. Well done all. ;D

Breakcamp means that i'd have to see my school mates again. Wonder why I can relate better with other corps mates despite such short time span together. In any case, I had already accepted the fact that this is it and I'll just have to make the best out of it. Ultimate aim is to get pass these 2yrs.

I thought alot these few days.
I haven't been doing enough/good enough for stjohn.
I haven't been doing enough for studies. (Really.)
I haven't been trying to be active in AJ (but I must admit it will all be for the SGC come next year).
Tutors' impression of me is goddamn bad.
Two school terms are over, and I swear I'll buck up during this hols and next term and stop dwelling on the current lifestyle and workload cause it will never change.
I don't wish to disappoint those who once believe I can make it.

Went for mountain biking with the juniors today, resulting in uneven tan on my arms. Pretty fun, hope they enjoyed themselves too. (Bk, are you sleeping at EastCoast now? ;X) There is always so much for me to learn whenever I go back. Had dinner with e2 yesterday. (: Lets move on people, but never forget each other. MUG HARD FOR COMMON TEST, EVEN HARDER THAN Os!!

YOYOYO! Went to support yilu at HC Dance Night yesterday! Her dancing is still ever great and the performance put up was impressive! Not really like anyother performace I went to before. Nice night spent, and its a pity that the so impromptu stayover was canceled. Went home and dived for my bed.

Joined the corps in its annual CPN'08. Hope the corps enjoyed the retreat. This yr's was held with a tinge of sadness, with our corps sup, Mrs Irene Tan leaving us. I guess the news came pretty shocking to many that the motivational force behind the corps is leaving us after so many years. Although I personally didn't really work with Mdm Tan, but I must really thank her for giving me so many opportunities all these years, for building up Xinmin St John to where it is today. Mdm, thank you.

The unhappiness shall be forgotten. But the damage is always there, do you know my pa and ma? I know the older I get, the more I have to face up to it. I am trying to understand, so I am not blaming on you all.

FINALLY I SHALL STOP GOING TO NHQ. FINALLY I SHALL STOP SEEING STANLEY SIR. But these few days were hilarious nevertheless with other zonemates around, when we gossip. LOL. There were some points of time I really feel fustrated having to go such long distance and not learning anything beneficial, while I still have schoolwork to juggle with. Life in JC can get really stressful, and sometimes more than I can handle. But we'll have to learn. Learn.

I guess I won't be blogging daily. Study mood shall kick in!

I shall stop signing up for anymore activities/events till I get my studies back on track. Kept thinking these few days if my juniors were to come aj and I retain and shall be in the same class as them, wouldn't it be weird! They will then know how slack OCT Adam is. LOL. I FAILED GEOG. ofcourse, maths. And I guess it will be so too for chem and econs. But it will only make me study harder! (Cause I am not really doing so currently...)

This officer course campfire thing is getting onto my nerves. I still haven't find any solutions to my 'pot' or tripod. Blame on me to think of such decorations. By right AFA shall end tonight, but the association reqiures 18hours, so that shall decide that we have to go on Sunday again, making it 6 days spent at HQ staight (with 5 facing Stanley sir without learning anything much, but still, I will take it positively.) Took the paper and practical this evening (which is ironic, cause we sat for the paper before the course actually ends). Came in as one of the highest with YangQing and Ting2 for theory! Hee, but I think my CPR weren't as successful. But in any case, its over and we all passed. Anyway, I think Dr. Chen is really great. The half an hour or so spent with him is more fruitful than with - sir who took supper with us just now. K, I shall still take this positively like how an officer should.

June hols in one week's time, but there will be plenty of makeups. God, term 3. But it seems like PAE period only.

Don't have to say much, I still miss all.

:( My bank account is only left with $50 for this entire month! No money to go for my pimple doctor's consultation (lol), no money to cut hair and all! :( Damn that guitar. Never occur to me that I can actually change the strings only and that will cost < $20! Aye.

Trying to make new friends for the need of having one, struggling to keep awake all the time. I cannot believe i skipped chemlec to sleep. But I am really too tired. Being slapped with so much tutorials, PW stuff and CTs soon. I need to keep up, I have to keep up.

I can finally give my legs a rest.

Their competition ended this evening. The much anticipated day arrived, but I don't want it to. I thought I could control myself, but still cried for the first time at the end. I dunno why; I didn't cry for my team, I didn't do so for the team I trained, but i done so this evening. Its more of happpiness than saddness. I was seriously praying so deeply and my heart was beating so hard against my chest. Their team was called up, there they stand, so proud as champions. They fought so hard for it, how can I resist my tears? All of you made me believe in faith again after seeing so much disgust. AA put up a great fight, that's the spirit man. ;D As for NC, YOU SEE! Our results might not be as good as what we thought, but I am really satisfied already. Really. All of them deserve a good rest and recharge themselves for school again. I will miss going back to help all of you. Its taxing, but I love it. Life in AJ is never gonna be like that.

I used to think that I can handle it well, but when everything is being thrown at me, I did otherwise... I don't want to disappoint. Its already APRIL hao bu hao. Without even realising it, 3months had already past and I felt that 90% were wasted.

Left with last theory course day next sunday which is also the theory paper and MOI assessment. Just hope I can recognise those faces. Triage lecture today was great I must say (ESPECIALLY THE PICTURES). And frankly speaking, I am so so so glad that theory phase is coming to an end although there are still PROJECTS and camp ahead. Was constantly being reminded that comp will be on THIS sat. As much as I wanted to be there for them this week, my lessons end at 4plus everyday. Same old thing as always, show the zone what Xinmin has got. But for AA, its not to late to buckup.

I don't remember the spirit of xinmin compteam to be like that. It really took us great effort, hardwork and sweat to create such a legacy in such a short time as compared to other corps. You never know how proud I felt when I heard positive comments about the corps from other corps when I went for OTC . I don't wish to see it coming down just like that. I would rather be frank now than to regret on comp night like last year.

This week in college is actually not bad, I am starting to enjoy doing work (?), pay more attention during lectures...PE was tough but endurable. NAPFA is coming! Provided I'm staying and all. Next thing, is the world really becoming smaller? I got so many common friends with my other friends! Like yangqing is linked to jonathan and all. So surprising lol. Anyway, today we had the Li Fei Hui workshop. Pretty nice. And yeah, thurs and fri will be some workshops too!

Officer course theory shall end in two days' time. I had learnt to face things more positively, and best of luck to campfire committee. Lets hope the nights burnt for meetings shall turn out to be okay.

FAC's in TEN days time. We made it happened before. We will do it again.

Here I am, blogging though kinda drained. The week finally ended, but not really. TP has yet to contact me, but I shall remain positive yeah.

Cabbed down to Xinmin today after the PE (as hell as ever)for the long awaited Promotional Parade! Been thinking about it, especially during class today. To add on to my anxiety, meiqi and guys ended so early, and all of them can go back like 2 plus? Okay, thats not my point hahah.

I can feel the fire within me burning again. I wonder how long will I serve Xinmin Stjohn, but I swear I must return proudly with the Grade6 pip on my shoulder. Witnessed the stepping down of my dear sec4s whom had all contributed to the corps in many ways, and handing over the baton to the sec3s. This batch of sec4s proved to be a challenging one, but at the end of the day, they had all grown up much. I remember how they were always on our meeting agendas, the many problems that they gave, but these unhappy issues shall be forgotten. I watched most of them mature along the way, and couldn't be any happier. I noticed the effort that they put in for stjohn, without complains, and how many of them fell in love with the corps like how many of us did. I hope they had learnt much from Stjohn, and all the best for their journey after secondary school, as well as Os. ;D

As for the cheeky AC which I took, all was promoted, and all handed with huge responsibilities. To this batch of sec3s, work hand in hand together. Xinmin Corps is now in your hands.

There is no where now where I can feel this kinda family-family love.

There goes SP. I wouldn't want to take up a Human Resource Management course nor a Chemical (whatever) technology. On another note, TP contacted me to go for an interview for HTM on next tuesday. I'll now leave it to god and fate.

Everything is in such a mess ever since the PAE period. Blame on myself for not making a wise/informed choice, blame on myself being so indecisive. Bought many MCs for the first time in my life. So many unfinished tutorials and notes to read up on. Just looking extremely forward to any breaks/holidays/weekends.

But I really have to thank ms ng for listening to me and giving me advices. Thanks Ma'am. Thanks meiqi, liying, eileen, minghui, bk and rose for all your concerns. Many thanks to my stjohn seniors too...

IF I were to stay in AJ, the only few things that cheer me up would be to continue studying Geog (Although its a hell lot of content. Its like so many times of O level which we took four years to complete), go for zoo attachment/CIP and perhaps I can go on overseas summer program at CAMBRIDGE in England! OMG. That Cambridge is cool, and nice and whatever can! So Harry Potter like. And best of all, you get to study geog for 10days straight, with alot of fieldtrips, excursions and interesting tutorials under the sun!

I was not prepared for JC right from the beginning.

MELIZO!

My first time to melizo. Performance was splendid! Especially the musical part. But the entire thing ended off quite abruptly and I was somewhat expecting the school song. Talking about the school song! OMG. Eileen played for me the new one, and ... :( Joked about burr in his outfit hahah. And btw BURR is one of my house cheers in AJC! Saw some juniors too, like chompu. Everyone dressed up so nicely man.

Can spend quality time at home catching up schoolwork. I don't find my new class to be warm or nice actually...I wasn't there on monday and tuesday, so this guy was asking me:

Me (HUH?! Wad am I suppose to reply?): "...Eh...I am Adam loh, ya..." *looked away*

Weird right?! Okay. I find some people in my class real odd.

Okay, my fever subsided this morning but I dint' attend school anyway. Felt terrible during yesterday's officer course cause of my fever. And I slept in the most unglam way on the MRT on the way home. Fever sucks.

Anyway, wanted to go 405's dinner and Ismail's comp but couldn't make it.

So the 4days' training camp was over. Another learning point for me...Didn't think I make a good advisor. But well, most of the programmes ended on time, and I'm glad most enjoyed campfire. what happened during day2 night was SUPPER EERIE.

A day off school today means I've to finish up more tutorials.

After today the short March holidays seem to be over for me already. Next couple of days shall be spent with st john. God, I'm NOT prepared for the new school term. Extremely not. Fifth training camp for me this year, taking the role of S3 Ops Advisor. Hope all goes well, and everyone will have a memorable march camp '08. SHUMIN! I really look forward to see you on day2! Anyway, I'm pretty blessed to have this team of S3 people. Naturally we'll face challenges, but we'll overcome them! We got a strong head, DYs and NCOs! Jiayou. ONE WEEK HOLIDAYS! Or so as it seems...

So today marks the day I become Officer Course Trainee offically. Had the opening ceremony, and usual admin stuff. I am actually VERY amazed from the fact that there is a fellow course trainee from my group (Hotel) who has reached her 30s but still signed up for this course. Nothing eventful.

Yesterday was spent at NHQ too, with the teams. So happens that Hwachong and Nanhua were there too...and its also Zone 6's FAC! Some teams' way of approaching of casualties were cool indeed, while others were...hahaha, you know what I mean.

I am quite fustrated with my printer now. On and off like having some moodswings and printing so slowly. Btw I am printing course notes. Back to memorising rank and procedure days.

Omg, so her appeal succeeded. I was like hoping it will get rejected so she can stay in AJ with us, hahh. Okay, selfish thought of mine. BUT! I will seriously miss you (omg mushy.) KEEP IN CONTACT okay. In the future we'll get too caught up with school work but musn't lose touch ok!

2nd March already.

Today's routine is pretty like every other sundays. Sleep, sleep and more sleeping. I ought to learn from meiqi man. Didn't complete a single tutorial. Chemistry was demoralising. No idea what that GP tut wants us to do. Don't even need to think about maths. Geog isn't any better off either. Content getting more heavy. Its really hard to put my mind to focus during lectures. Once you're off tracked, bye for that hour or two. This musn't continue anymore...

OTC interview yesterday. Go for the teams' training too. So the course will start proper as of next week, and I'll have to bite my way through till POP in Sep. Can already imagine the stress whereby every sunday is spent with stjohn and there aren't much time to rest/study. Hope its worth it.

However, felt really happy to go back to the corps on last friday! Been looking forward to fridays, when I can finally take a day off resting and ofcourse visit them if possible!

XMSJAB is a GOLD AWARD winning corps again for 2008!

Received the news through sms yesterday morning. Huge relief. I guess we have to thank our teachers alot again. That gold is really hard to come by especially for this time round. Our hardwork for 2007 paid off!

ORIENTATION 2 WAS A TOTAL BLAST!

Really mean it. Day 2 was more enjoyable, and today was fun! Had some war game sort of game in the morning against other alliances, and almost died. DAMN HIONG ok. Then had another game, dances, and do CIP in the noon. SO FUN! I mean CIP was not the fun part, but all the jokes with my OG were so funny! This was one of those few times which I got pass the graduation blues. Then come the FINALE NIGHT! Not bad, especially all those cheerings! SO NICE! Won't lose to stjohn's kinda cheering, and in fact better! I love that kuchibeh ya kuchibeh! kuchibeh ya sabeh! Xi de guo dong xi de dong! ti-ti-ti bomb dynamite cheer! Extremely nice can! Had fun jumping about, doing banja, cheering and all. I like that AJ Rap too! (First time hearing it, cos wasn't around for orientation1 day3) Nice experience. My OGF (Monica, not really that guy) was good too. Capable and high. Hahha.

Ok, everything will start proper today. Welcome myself back to AJC, as expected. But some are going to poly (maybe its god's decision), while most in NYJC still. Again, faced with the dilema of choosing subject combi. SUCKS.

I don't find orientation 2 any funner, maybe its because I don't wanna blend in. Sharing the same sentiments as rose. Anyway, Shi Ting got into TJC. Congrats yo. I feel myself ageing a lot for these two months...in terms of thinking i mean. Finally JAE's gonna be out tomorrow, at least many more familiar faces can be found in AJC soon i bet. The feeling really sucks big time without someone to confide to when you feel down and have to face problems alone. Some of my friends and I have started to drift apart, I can sense it. This will happen eventually, but I didn't expect it to be so soon. If maybe some have notice, I don't force people anymore as much as I do last time. I don't have that much energy to persuade people round to continue to believe in what they (or maybe we) used to. We don't see that common goal now.

Rather sadly, orientation 2 is starting and 31/08 will split. Feel abit attached to these people, such as K and Vanessa esp during lessons. Always so hilarious. Photos up soon. Very soon.

Had 405 dinner just now!
Superb time with everyone, for those who turned up (which is round half the class). Went fish & co for dinner instead of steamboat...All pics are not with me, so no pictures at the moment. Anyway, had real fun with all those games after the dinner! FOC leh! Cause intially we wanna catch some movies. Sweat alot, and screamed alot. Hahah. Oh yeah not forgetting that I really LOL at shiting. DAMN FUNNY!

Went AMKhub afterwards, due to my craving for teh (yuan yang). So came across this person. HE IS REAL HUMAN! Okay, I think i saw one at orchard before, but still think that its a fake one just now.

Ok, CNY 2008 is here again! Didn't go Malaysia this time round (claps), and went visiting on Day1 and 3. Day3 was spent with my relatives from my maternal side! Finally after so long, we all met up together again. Ever since Grandma passed away, we don't meet up on every sundays anymore. But I'm glad that at least we used to have those, when I always played with all my cousins like there is no tomorrow. We can slide down the hill went it rained and landed in mud followed by scoldings from godmum afterwards. But it was fun. Anyhow, several of my cousins got married already! Perhaps I'm too occupied with O preparation, I don't even know one of them got married! LOL. Took many many pictures, but none of them are with me currently. And yah, did I say before kids are cute? Yeah THEY ARE! Charles was jealous over Nicholas cause his mum praised the latter lol. Hope to have more meet ups soon! :D

Celebrated jiamin's birthday yesterday, and caught gungfu dunk. It's nice! At least the nicest of the 4 jay chou movies.

Hehe, this is my sis with her rebonded hair (no diff? waste of money lol) Her smile is always like gek-sai like that. Lol.

Subconsciously I'm still thinking that things will be like before. I want to be with my old friends again, go stjohn as in-school member, prank and joke with teachers. Everyone around me in AJ is fitting in so well, or seem so to me. My classmates are nice people, funny, but...I don't wish to get close with them. PE was total horror yesterday, really put my endurance to test.

I've to adapt. Or force myself to adapt.

Introduced sec1s to stjohn too. Batches come and go, but at least after the course of 4 years, we all have grown to become stronger and tougher to face life in JC/Poly. Really really pleased to see that the graduating batch have changed a lot for the better, after all our worries for them.

I finally bear fruitful results after four years in Xinmin. Thankyou, Xinmin.

I scored freaking straight As! With extremely unexpected A2 for Addmaths & Physics, which I used to get F9s for. My heart was like beating so hard against my ribcage la, and I even forgot my hp number (cause we had to put down our's on the list)! At first I saw some Bs, then was like pretty disappointed, but it end up to be else one's! It's only until Mr Pah Joel and KL cheered for me b4 i realised. Haha. :D

Not to forget, MEIQI & YILU DID VERY VERY WELL! Straight As too, with 6A1s & 8A1s respectively!! Omg.

There are so many people I've to thank, too many to list them down. But deep down in my heart, I truly appreciate whatever you friends & my teachers had done to help me.

31/08 is rather fun to be with! Finally after some time in AJ i'm feeling more comfortable and nice to be around with. Had PE yesterday and today. Can imagine two days of PE straight in AJ? It's like stjohn's march camp. Legs, arms, abs, back all aching now. But I enjoyed today's PE! Was msn-ing with bk just now and he said i'm weird cos i'm actually liking PE! lol. I agree to a full extent. Ran to AMK park, did some statics stuff like pumpings. Teacher was very encouraging, and the group I'm having PE with was nice too! Met Yi Hui (is it?) from nanhua stjohn too. (:

Yo. Had temp lectures these few days till next friday. I still have to adjust to the lectures style of learning maths. But able to cope for other subjects. Alvl Geog is much better than secondary geog! Maths is a totally different story though...I sldn't grumble so much and end up disliking this subject even more. However I just can't imagine how I'm going to stick to this subject for 2 more years cause there are no other options! Hope I won't die flat for GP. There are more and more factors pushing me to the poly route. Ytd was CCA carnival, and i'm really amazed with Wushu. For others, Xinmin's was way better (like choir, dance). Anyhow, I signed up for OGF (that's for staying in AJ).

So we'd lots of long break time in between lectures, and many a times we end up chatting at canteen like today. Was totally mad with Shi ting and ly talking abt the gossip wan bao and all. Hahah. I'm so so so glad that I've them around.

Attended first lesson on guitar too! Learnt two chords only, and it seemed like 1 hour passed by so fast! I love playing guitar! A noob still though.

Was occupied with stjohn this week.

Went to ICA with Shoot, but little to know that we cannot enter without the Q-cards! Luckily at the end of the day, still managed to summit the application form. Then it rained! So we took some big plastic sheets and used it to cover our heads from the rain! Comical scene, or rather weird. Haha.

Too much stuff which require too much money!

So my last second of 2007 and first minute of 2008 was spent with E2 gang! Went KBox first, and 5 person total up to $124!! That was like OMG. Nevertheless, had a great time singing and hogging the mike. Lol. Then went countdown with Truth or Dare before that (very crazy dares), played with the 'snow' thing and walked all the way to audrey's! Had a real hard time sleeping; 13 ppl squeezing in a tiny room. Lol. Then watched two horror movies (i'm not scared ok!) which in our sense were so humourous la! Kept laughing esp when the bed was rocking. Drama. Oh ya, there was gift exchange too! Had lunch, I suppose, at J.Kayu prata shop. LOTS OF BIRDS DROPPINGS. LOTS. IN the end we shifted indoors, and actually got told off by the shopkeeper.

WE MUST REALLY KEEP IN CONTACT OK! ITS A MUST! I'm missing everyone already! Esp when my og was so zombie like.

DAY ONE ORIENTATION WAS RATHER DISAPPOINTING.
It's like the most-did't-enjoy-myself i've been through. Even Xinmin's was better, for at least those mentors tried to glue us together. Except for those rather nice cheers, the whole day was for stoning. My OG was dead, resulting me dead as well. And Meiqi is in the same OG as me! Spent the whole afternoon yesterday on the ***** for our gang and yet it's only a quarter way done! I shall not give up and make sure you all will receive it soon!

My sleep ytd was interupted by shumin! Called me near midnite and asked me to go online. So i'm alrdy expecting another weird thing like how our gang always did. Countdown via online! Lol, countdown via hp conference last time and now msn? Hahah, nevertheless my mood was lightened in this festive season. So lame lah bk, yl and shoot!

Okay, so christmas signifies 2007 is coming to an end. The year seemed so long, but again so short. Many many things happened, from the most impt 'O', to stepping down from stjohn, and some saddening incidents...I wanna thank the following for making the closure of secondary sch so eventful and meaningful.

1. 405! The biggest class ever, 47! So we survived Ms. Abey's regime together, but come to think of it it seems rather fun hor! I will rmb the five of us sitting at the back, lol. And ofcos ppl like KhuiHuay, TingYin, Mal, Rose, Ruimin, Farah, Alex, Jamie, Rachael etc...I know I'll miss studying together in the same classrm. And thanks Steph Ruimin Val for smuggling food in for lessons so that I'll not be hungry and pay full attention in class! Hahah. So we've conquered Chinese 'O' and so can we for the rest! Ge fen dong xi le, but we must still meet up now and then ok!

2. E2 Gang!! So fate have keep us close for 4 years, even after the sec2 streaming. Aiyo, I dunno how to thank all of you seriously...
Meiqi: Ehm, firstly I must apologise for wadever happened during marchcamp. Then...the rest are all written in your bd card. I really hope everything will be like how it used to be...Thanks for everything. (:

Went for Rachael's church event again this morning. But this time round with much leser people, cause all are down with work/overseas. Okay, I know today is already the 21 dec and soon to be 22 dec, leaving another week till orientation starts on 2nd jan. But well, got another job as a waiter at several hotel outlets tgt with Mal, Shumin, Koon and Nich. Pss, perhaps we're only intending to work for this week, get the pay and pai pai pi gu zou diao! (that is a real mean thing to do...) Attended the basic training, and I must say attire for work really sucks. Learned quite a lot of things, and now i realised that its not easy being a waiter for wedding dinner! So I always took them for granted...so sorry.

Right now, I still couldn't register the fact that sch is starting again in around a week's time. Omg omg.

Stjohn is going to be really hectic again in 2008. We will make it there together! :D

Okay, gotten the news that i'm enrolled into AJC ARTS! (: Lets hope everything will remain the same after we got the actual Os result. Well, finished The Perfect Evil by Alex Kava and felt abit cheated and huh? Cos the ending is left hanging halfway, so maybe I'm expecting another book.

M'ysia trip wasn't fun at all, and well, I don't expect it to be initially. Total of 14 ppl, with all my long-time-no-see relatives (esp cousins that havn't meet up at all since I am 7yrs old). So you can expect my behaviour throughout the 4-days trip lah. Anyway, some of my cousins grew up real fast! My only impression of them was like small kids who addressed me as ah jun gor gor? Hah. Stayed over at my mysia's relatives' semi-detached. And do you know that in Mysia, those kinda well off households own THREE cars each? Got to know LOTS and LOTS of relatives...Witnessed the jing cha yi shi, which consisted of some weird chanting of scripts? Then kept eating for the 4 days as well, including late night sleep. Finally was the actual dinner night. Went K for 2 nights as well, but I really didn't enjoy myself at all. So reached back Sgp on Tue night, and some problems began to surface regarding my parents...unhappy stuff sldn't be mentioned.

Yeah, then had steamboat lunch at Steph's place ytd. Thanks for the gifts!! Rushed over to compteam mtg, and made lots of drastic changes. Cabbed down to Suntec for some grooming workshop by ***(-.- shumin) which in my opinion was a total $@@#$#@ hah.

Here I come, college life!

405CHALET!
Only went for 1 1/2 days, and was tired like hell. Cycled in the midnight till my asshole is so sore, like serveral contusions. Played mahjong in the midnight too...Ofcourse, there was BBQ again. Yah, we tried to catch sunrise in the morning, but couldn't wait any longer cause the wind that is blowing is really darn strong lah. Bah, when we checked out, that staff darn @@##%$%@#@. Charged us $14 just for a single towel! Accused us of using the towel as floor mat. But its obviously not our fault since they didn't mention beforehand and wanna cheat us of our money! Then she retaliated by saying its common sense not to use. By then i was damn pekchek le lah, and i said "$14 a towel. Even Raffles Hotel's is not as ex. Wipe le can remove pimples de meh?" Hah. But in the end that staff still win and we have to pay the amount. Yes, what wonderful Aloha Loyang.

Today, its nice to see everyone coming together for a good cause: Zone presentation training. Was appointed the parade orderly tgt with burr. Finally the batch I trained is going to be NCOs. Congrats to KAHLUN, ISAAC, SHILI for being the respective outstanding trainees! There will be lots of projects coming up, lets all work hand in hand tgt!! (: And Xinmin blasted HwaChong today with our cheers. Heh. Goodjob XINMIN SJAB! ;D

I really don't wish to draw a closure to 2007 and my seconday school life with regret. I'm truly sorry.

Work today was rather nice except from the constant supervision from my boss Xiao Fei. But anyway he is quite a funny boss la, and nicknamed me 'Chen Mo' cause I'm rahter quiet on my own hah. I thought he was joking initially, but I really do have to put on the 'Chen Mo' nametag! LOL. There is another cashier Meiqi (ehm, kinda coincidence huh) who is really nice too lah. Somemore she resembles my mum lah. Aiyo. Meiqi = Mum. However, I might be working at my toapayoh UOB for data entry...so I'm having some problem speaking up to Xiao Fei. Maybe I won't receive my pay for the previous days but just treat it as an experience bah. An experience of dai ren chu shi...

Went Escape! with my sis, Val and Nich. Seriously I find escape to be quite a bore with so many closed down for maintanance lah. Nevertheless there were free tiks so went anyhow. Though its umpteen times I went into a haunted house before, I still freaked out abit at the sight of the eye-black-less woman's protrait lah. Had some fun anyways.

Went to Pasir Ris Park next since we had too much time to spare. Cycled. And i guess we sldn't cycle as much now, cause I suddenly rmb I read from the news that some taiwan research proved that excessive cycling will affect sperm count lah! (So does MENTOS according to Ismail hah)

Evening!
Went swimming in the morning, then went audrey's house for 'When a stranger calls'. Felt darn bloody cheated. Throughout the show is RING RING lah, and we made some jokes out of it hah. Then the stranger is really a stranger which didn't appear in the movie before. Dang. Anyway, we went to gamble. Initially I won quite a few rounds for dua dai di lah! Then later on lost everything during the san zhang card thing. Dang 2.

So funny lah, liying put such big card right after the diamond 3.

Okay, I shall read my killer books for tml and the day after!

Firstly, i apologise for the mixed up pictures of different events, cos blogger is having some problems I guess.

Just feel that I'm sort of wasting my life away without any particular aim after the major exams is over. Perhaps I should go do some voluntary work again. (:

Right, PROM was terrific! Food was okay, the people there were great, so was the emcee and those who were sabotaged to go up on stage. Liying was so high till she volunteered herself as one of the most talkative graduate hah. Then Junyi & Ruimin were nominated for PROM QUEEN! The video was alright (many complained that our 2e2 & sj pics...yah.), but I had to twist my head to watch the video for 30 whole mins. Took lots and lots of photos after that, but none with the teachers cos they were no where to be seen right after the dinner ended. Went to Audrey's house for sleepover with Yilu, Val and Nicholas. It was fun!! Slept at 3plus, and had to wake up at 7 to collect report books at school. PPL, PLS TAG AT MY BOARD WHAT IS YOUR FIRST CHOICE FOR PAE! Many around me are going AJC, same for me.

Had 405 BBQ at Shalina's and ShiHua's condo last night, although not all turned up. Was fun BBQing, expect for the stomachache part...Then someone suggested playing at the pool, so all of us ended up WET. Yup, Ms Lim Mr Wong & Mr Chan were there too...(:

Went bowling, and wanted to accompany the girls to shop for their prom shoes. But it so ended up that nich's mum called and said there are free tiks for escape! So me nich and val went ahead, and...!#!@#@$@#%!@ after a long journey we found out escape wasn't open! So decided to rent bike to cycle, and god is really kidding us. The nearest rental shop had rented out all the single bikes. You can't believe our luck. Then we ended up walking all the way to the other rental shop, but had nice chat along the way lah.

Staying at home the whole day ytd forced me to find back my long lost love, that is reading, hahah.
I couldn't believe i actually reduced my sleep hours for that book which i'm reading right now: Blood Memory. Definitely a good read, with amazing plot and lots of twists. Thrilling read.

Off to bowling later on with them...I must improve on my bowl!

Hahah, it seems like i'm already in a non-exam mood. Just went to apply for a job @ Sakae after the first failed attempt at Paya Lebar with Ling, Steph and Shoot. (lol, pls don't blame it on me hah) Lets hope that I do get the job! :D

Finally the most dreadful SS paper was over. I guess I did okay for SBQ, but for SEQ, i forgotten what i memorised for Sustain Devp, so just threw in my own points. Lol, it wasn't the first time anw, just hope everything will turn out fine.

Actually wanted to celebrate yilu's birthday today, but we can't contact the rest, so maybe is gonna pushed back to tml. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YILU! Had a fun time playing hangman at hgpoint anw, haha.

I realised i haven been with the corps for quite some time already, wonder how the leaders are doing, as well as the junrs. Everyone is just so preoccupied with their own business.

I still couldn't believe that I've to memorise 7 whole chapters of SS for monday's paper. Even if I studied 7 chapters, there is no guarantee that one of those will come out as SEQ question, since our dear local setters can mix and match some other chapters as well. Couldn't our education system just re-evaluate on such subject's mode of assessment? This is total crap i tell you. You just memorise without understanding (for there is nothing much for you to understand) by hard, and then vomit everything out on the spot then finally afterwhich, you couldn't rmb anything regarding Knowledge-Based Economy and stuff. This is practical?

Whats more is that I just simply couldn't stand reading up on the chapter of Good Governance (not that I have a choice, since this is a 'hot' chapter - see, what is the point of this kind of education?). The entire chapter is constantly full of praises for our government. Yes, I do agree that our government is good, but that extent is simply too much. This totally sucks and I couldn't stand it.

It is not like you don't study SS and you'll not grow up understanding your country or become some irresponsible citizens.

In conclusion, of the whole family of humanities, this is the most pointless one.

Enough of grumbling for me, life still goes on and I have to accept the fact that the paper is in one plus day's time. At least this is the last time i'm gonna touch this book of Social Studies. And this SS paper better not pull down my grade for combined humanities.

We're almost done!
Last FOUR papers to go, with THREE MCQs!

As usual, nothing eventful. English was average (as usual). I just threw in chunks of phrases for compo, and felt that it was really a 'choppy' piece - ji teh ji teh (say it in hokkien and you'll understand). I wasn't a good writer from the start, hah. Then paper2 was the norm. So English was overrrrrrrr!

What was next huh...eh yah, Emaths! Ok. Thats my comment, couldn't remember much of the papers. Just wishing that I can give Mrs. Lim a surprise. (:

Last paper of this week's shall be today's PHYSICS. I'm praying very very very very hard that I can get a distinction. Just an A2 or B3 alone i'll be smiling even when I sleep. But sad thing is that i made some careless mistakes...Lets hope 405 can make MrC cry tears of joy next year [:
